Delightful and Gluten-free Apple Crumble Recipe

Love.

The apples are finally gracing our meal tonight! I’ve been meaning to eat the apples in our fridge but I am too cold to have them raw…<3

Happy Holidays!!!

Delightful and Gluten-free Apple Crumble Recipe

Yield: 8 servings

INGREDIENTS

7 Peeled, cored and sliced apples (I use organic pink lady apples)

Delicious coating for the apples:
1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
1/2 Cup Apple Cider (unfiltered)
1 Tsp. Xanthan gum
1/4 Cup Maple syrup
1/4 Cup Coconut sugar

The crumble:
1 1/4 Cup Walnuts (chopped). I soak and air dry the nuts before using them. Click here for information about soaking.)
1 1/2 Cup Gluten-free all purpose baking mix
1/2 Cup Coconut sugar (packed)
2 Tsps. Cinnamon (ground)
1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
1/2 Tsp. Real salt
3/4 Cup Ghee (melted)

PROCEDURE

Preheat the oven to 375° F. In a large bowl, mix the apples with the coating ingredients. Stir until the apples are thoroughly coated.

In a separate bowl, mix the crumble ingredients together.

Spread the apples evenly in a 9×13 inch baking glass and sprinkle the crumble mixture on the apples. Cover it with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 25 minutes. (I recommend using a timer)

Set it out to cool down for 10 minutes and serve.

Enjoy!!!
